brick production

When driving through the country an looking at the fields you can see collections of bricks and sometimes walls of then which on the first view look like a building.

With a closer look you can see that it's actual made of soil and put in form of a brick.

They then are layed out for drying in the sun or stapled for transport.

For hardening they often use straw or the plant remains from rice production and put it between the stapled bricks and burn it.

A side effect on taking the soil for the bricks is the creation of this terraced fields that you see all over the place.

On one hand side it's for claiming the territory on the other hand for separating the seeds, having on one area potatoes, on the other beans or rice etc.
